Brett is an accomplished hands-on workplace health and safety, railway safety, and railway operations manager. His proven record of achievement includes over 38 years' experience in delivering workplace health and safety, railway safety, and railway operations solutions to the railway, construction and other industries.

He began his career as a Junior Station Assistant and progressed through a range of customer service, safety, operational, management and senior executive management positions with the State Rail Authority of New South Wales, Rail Access Corporation and Rail Infrastructure Corporation before establishing his own consulting company, Terrace Rail Pty Limited, in 2004.

Since 2004 Brett has been integrally involved in major railway projects across Australia, including the Sydney Airport Line, Epping to Chatswood Rail Link, Rail Clearways Program, Southwest Rail Link, and Glenfield to Leppington Rail Line. He also provides specialist and professional consulting services in Australia.
